Baptism
Being baptised is an important step that should follow on quickly after coming to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism is a sign of our obedience to God and an outward sign and witness to what has happened in our lives. We choose to die to self and rise into the new life we have in Jesus. We are able to quickly arrange a time to baptise people and all you need to do is organise a time to talk with someone in leadership at Brookside.
Below you can click on more information about being baptised.

"Repent and be baptised, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off - for all whom the Lord our God will call." Acts 2:38-39 (NIV)
When all the people were being baptised, Jesus was baptised too. And as He was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on Him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: "You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased." Luke 4:21-22 (NIV) |
