THE AMAZING LOVE & GOODNESS OF GOD, THE FATHER

So much about God is mysterious and yet amazing. Creation itself reveals His glory and creativity, His wonder and yet His unfathomable love. It is our conviction that God is a good Father; and that it was love that compelled Him to send His Son into this world. Jesus, the Son, came to save and redeem the world that had been lovingly created, not to judge and condemn us. God the Father, sent Jesus the Son - fully God and yet fully man, to rescue and regenerate all who will believe and receive Him. Only in Him can old things truly pass away and all things become new. This is the redeeming power of a good, good God.

We believe these truths are absolutely foundational and can be relied upon - even when life's circumstances appear to challenge them. We partner with God, our Father, knowing He loves us as precious sons and daughters, and not because we need to please or prove something to Him.

It is this deep certainty, that we are children of a good God, that inspires us to make His love tangible to others and to celebrate it at every opportunity and through every circumstance.
Long before God laid down earth's foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of His love, to be made whole and holy by His love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of His lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son.
