Local Community

Living the dream

There is much going on at, and through the church at Brookside that many in the local community do not know about. We are actively involved in the communities that are  local to us, in the Reading area and across the world. The development of a 'missional mindset' is a natural progression as we 'live the Great Commandment' Much of this is linked to embracing our individual God given identities. We do this as we experience and receive His love for us.

We are empowered to express the same love to others. Our dream is for people to get to know and appreciate God's love, and for this to be experienced as they spend time among us. This page provides a glimpse of what God is opening up for us as we discover need driven opportunities that are all around us in our community. All of this is happening in addition to our church based groups and programmes.
