The Marriage Course
At Brookside we believe that marriage is a good idea because it is God's idea, and we are committed to supporting marriage and family life within our church and within our local community.
On Radio Berkshire recently a lady phoned in to tell of a past, brief affair that led to her divorce. She described it as “the worst mistake of my life” and spoke of the subsequent pain and regrets that won’t go away. A Government paper has estimated that the effects of the breakup of marriage and families cost every rate-payer £750 per year for extra health services, court time, benefits etc. It doesn’t have to be like that!
Two's Company is a group of like minded people who, having seen their own marriages enriched, are passionate about marriage and want others in the local community to experience deeply fulfilling and long-lasting marriages for themselves.
This spring Two's Company will present The Marriage Course
This is a 7 week programme commencing on Wednesday 23rd May. Each evening, which centres around a delicious 2-course meal served at tables for two, provides an intimate setting for leaders’ talks and workbook exercises for couples (no group sharing!).
