What's going on for Children

Brookside‘s Children’s Team are a varied and dedicated bunch of people who work with children in many different contexts to ensure the church’s mission amongst children is resourced and effective. As well as working together, many of the team meet together socially and in mid-week groups. This helps to ensure a good sense of community and provides an opportunity to grow and to encourage one another.

We encourage parents and non parents, young people and older people to serve the children in these contexts. From making squash to leading groups everyone can play a part. We want to ensure good child protection practice and our policy ensures volunteers are regularly CRB checked and that as a team we develop accountable and supportive relationships with each other.
