25 years

Sunday 4th October 2009 marked 25 years of Steve Prince being employed by the church in its various forms. Steve started working in a pastoral and administrative capacity at Hilltop Church in October 1984. Hilltop was the church where significant growth took place at the end of the 1970s and during the early 1980s and a radical church planting strategy gave birth to King’s Church, Reading – with its 9 congregations. During Steve and Anita’s time of service they have spent four years working in Wokingham and the last 9 years at Brookside. Sunday 4th October was a very special morning for Steve as some time was given to reflect and Linda Mitchell helped to mark the occasion with some very kind words and relayed comments from one or two people who have worked with Steve. Read on for a summary of Steve’s message from 4th October, 25 years ago in 1984
